For this week’s story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have @katherine.Orefice & @bags0510 ✨ “Ryan and I met through a mutual friend. My freshman year roommate was the hockey manager and Ryan was on the team. We hung out together on multiple occasions but the timing was never in our favor. Until he reached out to me after a really rough days of exams and asked me to come over and bake cookies to make us both feel better. From that day we were inseparable. Our relationship wasn’t easy in the beginning because COVID shut down school. We decided for the safety of our family members to not see each other for a couple of months. Those months we had movie dates via zoom. Having each other through the pandemic got us through the difficult times. My favorite Rutgers memory that we made together would have to be Halloweekend 2019. After a long night of being out with my friends and Ryan we went back to my dorm and celebrated my birthday with a Carvel Ice Cream Cake. It was the perfect way to end such a ...
